This summer I have a position as a Davies' Leader. I am working with the Center for Economic and Environmental Development (CEED) to revitalize spots in Meadville that are located on Mill Run. I am currently concentrating on development of Shadybrook Park. New features that are being proposed for the park will include a storm-water filter to manage flooding, a paved walking path around the perimeter, better lighting, a new playground, volleyball courts, new stairs, a monet-style bridge, and murals painted on the spillway, shed, and outhouses. To present this information to the community in a visual format, I am making a 4' x 5' scale model that includes current and proposed features of the park.
