After this segment is completed, those of us working on the project will create a team of stakeholders who will critically view the analysis and will determine what changes the city can make. This team will take over in the coming months and will hopefully steer the city in the right direction. I'm excited to connect with leaders downtown and to hopefully find those that will be both willing and excited to participate in the action plan.

Compiling a Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventory
Working with Joe Chriest, City Manager of Meadville, on compiling a Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventory has already been quite rewarding and the findings from the project will be a great asset for the city. Collecting historical emission data has been a somewhat daunting task, but is essential in creating goals for changing energy consumption habits. The software we are using in this project is solely meant for this purpose, and once data is entered, analysis is easily performed and projections can be made.
